Roy J. McIntosh, 72, of S. Third St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Jan 23, 2005 at home. He was born Mar. 6, 1932 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Roy R. and Blanche G. (Meyer) McIntosh. He retired from the Steubenville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Roy was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, American Legion Post #38, and Elks Lodge #895 all of Martins Ferry and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas R. McIntosh. Surviving are his wife Patricia A. "Pat" (Reddy) McIntosh, three sons Robert A. (Lisa) McIntosh of Dayton, Donald T. (Charlene) McIntosh of Martins Ferry, and David L. (Brenda) McIntosh of Newport Ritchey, FL, a daughter Debbie L. (Ed) Mirich of Martins Ferry, twelve grandchildren Jason, Kristin, Justin, Stephanie, Kelly, Stephen, Kyle, and Keri McIntosh, and Chad, Lance, Scott, and Ryan Mirich. Friends will be received Wed. 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thur., Jan. 27, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. David Reasbeck officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling. Rosary devotions will be recited Wed. at 3:00 PM followed by Wake services at 7:30 PM both in the funeral home.
