Roy R. Ray, 60, of Bridgeport passed away Friday December 11, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born December 16, 1959 in Wheeling, a son of the late Jack D. and Martha (Straight) Ray. He was a retired roofer and a member of Lancaster United Methodist Church Sunset Heights. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Chris D. Ray, Sidney F. Baker Terry L. Ray and Rebecca L. Richards. Roy is survived by his brothers Elwood G. Ray and his fiancée Jennifer Bennington of Bridgeport, Keith E. (Lisa) Ray of Blaine, Jay D. (Christine) Ray of Mt. Pleasant, Allen W. (Beverly) Baker of Bridgeport of Moundsville, Gary R. McNeal of Columbus, and Greg D. McNeal, also many nieces and nephews. According to Ray's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
