TOGETHER AGAIN Roy "Cy" Young Sr., 84 of Bridgeport, went to be with his wife Rose on Saturday September 21, 2013 at Liza's Place Valley Hospice South Wheeling, surrounded by his loving family. He was Born October 4, 1928 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Norman J. and Hilda M. (Stillwell) Young. Cy was a retired employee of American Electric Power (Tidd/Cardinal Plants) with 43 years of service, a lifetime member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church Bridgeport, a long time member of Bridgeport High School Board of Education, and a member of the Bridgeport High School Alumni Hall of Fame, the Bridgeport Eagles, and the Matins Ferry Elks. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Rose Mary (Krehlik) Young in 2007, and a sister Hazel Marie Young. Cy is survived by his son; Roy "Cy" (Valerie) Young Jr. of Westerville, Ohio, daughters Daryl Totterdale of Brookside, Diane Duncan and, Debra (Ollen) Wamsley both of St. Clairsville, Dawn (George) Trouten of Wheeling, Dory Dunkle of Emerson, and Dana Finney of St. Clairsville , grandchildren Meagan and Meredith Totterdale, Alair Sokolowski, Jonathan Duncan, Shane, Mica, and Chelsea Wamsley, Gabrielle Trouten, Ajay and Kenzie Finney, Mallory and Taylor Young, great grandchildren Jacob Cunningham, Camden and Cooper Sokolowski, and Avri Finney. Friends will be received on Tuesday September 24, 2013 from 1-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. And then on Wednesday from 10 am till time of service at 11 am at the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church 200 Bennett St. Bridgeport with Rev. David Demarest officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
