Ruby Jean Murphy, 72 of Morristown formerly of Wheeling passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at the WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital.  She was born August 14, 1951, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Palazzo) Charlton.

Ruby was in the medical field working as a nursing assistant for many years.  She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wheeling, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Murphy in 2016, and two brothers, Ernie, and Sonny Charlton.

Surviving are her sons, Joseph (Jody) Murphy of Wheeling, and Patrick (Cindy) Murphy of Morristown, brother, Danny (Debbie) Charlton, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren complete her family.

Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Greenwood Cemetery, 1526 National Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
