Ruby (Scott) Marbais, 69, of Bellaire, OH and formerly of Hopedale, OH died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at Sunset Health Care in Harrisville, OH. She was born Nov. 19, 1935 in Shinnston, WV a daughter of Daisy (Flathery) Scott of Martins Ferry, OH and the late Merle Scott. She attended the Hopedale Church of Christ and was a member of the Belmont Better Hunting & Fishing Club of Piedmont. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Victor D. Marbais in 1993 and a brother Wayne Scott. Surviving in addition to her Mother are three sons Louie (Martha) Marbais of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lonnie (Tiffany) Marbais of Bellaire, and Larry (Lisa) Marbais of Columbus, two sisters Brenda ( Bob) Overfield of Martins Ferry and Judy (Mike) Orum of W. Alexander, PA, three brothers Ronald (Margo) Scott of Valley Grove, WV, Ben Scott of Martins Ferry, and Rick ( Melissa) Scott of Yorkville, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 from 11AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Jones officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Cadiz, OH.
