Rudolph A. "Rudy" Kittel, 84 of Blaine, died Saturday February 6th, 2010 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home Bridgeport, Ohio. He was born November 23, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Emil L. and Anna S. (Bartosch) Kittel. He was a retired shipping and receiving clerk for Grosse-Pointe Quality Foods of Detroit, Michigan, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, also the Michigan Teamsters Joint Council #43, and the Michigan Conference of teamsters local #337. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one Brother Emil J. Kittel, and two Sisters Anna Kittel, and Patricia C. Turski. Rudy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris E. (Kitterman) Kittel, two Brothers Ronald J. Kittel of Allen Park Mi., and Edward F. Kittel (Jean) of Virginia Beach, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Members of the family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday from 2 till 7 pm where services will be held Thursday February11, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. John Mucha officiating interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove OH. Vigil service will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Funeral Home.
