Russell W. Adams, 73, of Locust St., Bridgeport, OH, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at home. He was born May 9, 1938 in Martins Ferry a son of the late George R. and Mildred (Kerby) Adams. Russ was a retired Belmont County Deputy Sheriff. Surviving are two sons, Russell (Sharla) Adams of Texas and Mike (Olivia) Hudson of KY, and a daughter Paulette Adams of Texas, his twin brother Gene (Karen) Adams of Weirton, WV and five grandchildren Sherise Adams-West, Dillon Adams-Curtis, Jamie Davis, Emily Adams, and Alice Hudson. Friends will be received Mon. 5-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut and Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held, Tues., May 17, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
