Russell E. Brown Russell E. Brown, 82, of Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH died Jul., 15, 2003 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. He was born Apr. 21, 1921 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Frank and Carrie Branck Brown. He was retired from the former Blaw Knox Corp., Wheeling, WV and a veteran of the Army Air Corp WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Surviving are his wife Violet Regan Brown, a son Rodney Brown and his wife Dawn of State College, PA and a grandson Russell D. Brown of State College, PA. Private Services where held at Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV
