Rusty "Needles" Poland, 42, of Martins Ferry, OH died July 11, 2017 at OSU Hospital in Columbus. He was born March 6, 1975, in Wheeling, WV, a son of Linda (Jordan) and the late Richard Sommers. He was a gifted tattoo artist, a diehard Steelers fan, a Grateful Dead fan, and loved music festivals. Music was his release. He was a free spirit, who's laughter and smile were contagious. Rusty was to everybody exactly what they needed, which meant something different to each person. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Rusty is survived by his mother Linda and her husband, John DeCasper of Benwood; fiancé, Jennifer Seabright of Martins Ferry; children, Faith Poland of Bellaire, and Maddox Poland of Martins Ferry; his four-legged babies Ziggy and Stella Blue; and several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Saturday, July 15th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held at 7pm with Reverend James Hoff officiating. In keeping with Rusty's wishes, private interment will be held at the convience of the family.
