Obituary

Ruth Naomi Alltop, 70, of Martins Ferry passed away, Monday, May 3, 2021 in her dear sister Denise's home, surrounded by her family in St. Clairsville.  She was born November 7, 1950 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Kenneth and Elsie (Brown) Conaway.  She was Christian by faith.

Ruth is survived by her 2 daughters, Melissa (Luis) Garcia and Tiffany Nisperly; 8 sisters, Rebecca Younkins, Debby Sarko, Alice (Ronald) Holstein, Carol (Garry) Pegg, Tammy (Bo) Boso, Jennifer (Gary) Long, Denise Showalter and Janie (Michael) Meintel; 3 brothers, Roy (Cyl) Conaway, Brian (Randi) Conaway and Timothy (Kim) Conaway; 5 grandchildren, whom she loved spending time with and who were the light of her life, Breanna, Wyatt, Steven, Coby and Paisley and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a set of twin infant children, Ricky and Tracy; a brother, Terry Conaway and a sister, Rachel Conaway.

A memorial visitation will be held, Friday from 12 – 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.  A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 pm in the funeral home.
