RUTH LEE COSS, 83, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Heartland Lansing Care Center. She was born April 21, 1925 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Stephen and Stella (Mruzek) Futey. Ruth was a retired nurse with Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Judith Barritt and a brother Stephen Futey. Ruth is survived by her husband Charles Coss; a son Ronald Coss and his wife Mary Kay of Worthington, OH; a brother Richard Futey and his wife Lillian of Colerain; five grandchildren Steve Coss, Chris Coss and his wife Shelley; Abby Barritt, Seth Barritt and his wife Erin and Joy Barritt-Edgel and her husband Matt; a great granddaughter Cate Judith Edgel. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 am with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
