February 21, 1940 – December 4, 2020
RUTH ANN FITCH
A warrior until the end, Ruth Ann Fitch, now rests in peace and joy for all eternity after gracing this world for 80 years. Born in Bethesda, Ohio February 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Craig Fitch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Fitch; sister, Charlotte Fort; grandson, Jonathan Kinney; and niece Patty Fort.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Ruth Ann volunteered at Barnesville Hospital and was a member of Twig. Ruth Ann held the kind of beauty that came from within; strength, courage, and dignity.
Her presence, love, and kindness will forever be with those who she leaves behind; daughters, Brita Kinney (Bill) of Kimbolton, Amanda Barker (Greg) of Philo, Felicia Powell (Robert) of Belmont; step-son, Robert Siegmund of Germany; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Shaffer (Ron) of Barnesville, Cheryl Clifton of Wintersville; brothers, Melvin Fitch (Pattie) of Maryland, David Fitch (Teresa) of Barnesville; and long-time friend, Barbara McCort.
Honoring Ruth Ann's wishes, private visitation and service have taken place, with interment to be at the convenience of her family.
Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory was entrusted with Ruth Ann's care and honored to serve her family during this delicate time.
