Ruth M. Blumenauer Ruth M. (Rouse) Blumenauer,90, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Thurs., Nov. 4, 2004 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Aug. 1, 1914 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Elmer and Bertha (Odell) Rouse. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold F. Blumenauer, three brothers Kenneth, Howard, and Elwood Rouse, and two sisters Leatha Shrodes and Evelyn Padyjasek. Surviving are a son Harold E. "Sonny" Blumenauer of Tiltonsville, two daughters Bonnie (Kenny) Neal of Virginia Beach, VA and Rosemary Hayes of Martins Ferry, and a brother Elmer "Jack" Rouse of Bridgeport, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sun. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Nov. 8, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
