Ruth Shepherd, 88, of Barnesville, Ohio formerly of Morristown, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born June 23, 1923 in Morristown, Ohio, daughter of the late William Walker and Eva Burson Walker. Ruth was a homemaker, a member of Morristown Christian Church, and the Weyer Chapter Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Shepherd; son, Max Wendell Shepherd; and brother, Paul Walker. She is survived by daughter, Kaye (Mark) Anderson of Belmont; son, David (Linda) Shepherd of Bethesda; grandchildren, Casey Hall, Corey (Laurie) Hall, Chad (Wendy) Hall, Karen Jewell, and Darrin (Kristen) Shepherd; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Rarick of Barnesville; and brother, Wayne Walker of Weslaco, Texas. Family and friends may call, Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Services will be conducted, Friday 11 a.m., Minister Curtis Hallstrom officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.
