RUTH L. THOMPSON, 88, of Brookside, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Country Club Retirement Center in Bellaire. She was born June 29, 1920 in green County, PA, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Glendennig) Stuckey. Ruth was an employee of the former Bloch Bros. Tobacco in Wheeling and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookside. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Thompson; a brother William Stuckey; a sister Merle Goddard and a step-son Robert Thompson. Ruth is survived by a son Jimmy Galloway of Lansing; a granddaughter Ruth Mikes of Cambridge; three great grandchildren Shawn, Tim and Alison all of Cambridge. Visitation will be Friday 10 am until the time of the funeral services at 12 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
