S. Dean Russell, 71, of 419 2nd Street, Bethesda, Ohio died Monday, August 8, 2011 at his home. He was born April 18, 1940 in Bethesda, Ohio son of the late Samuel Arthur and Mildred Jeanette Travis Russell. He was retired from Consol Energy and was a member and deacon of Bethesda Christian Church. Surviving are his beloved wife of 49 years, Iris Jones Russell; daughter Denise (John) Turner of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sons, Darren (Michelle) Russell of Bethesda, Ohio and David (Jackie) Russell of Colerain, Ohio; grandchildren, Brandon and Brady Turner, Karlie, Kylie, Sammy and Nathan Russell; brother, Alan "Shorty" (Brenda) Russell of Bethesda, Ohio; and special companion "Buddy" of the home. Visitation will be Thursday 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 PM, Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719, with funeral services at 11 AM Friday at Bethesda Christian Church, 40601 Bethesda-Belmont Road, Bethesda, Ohio 43719.
