Sam P. Peroni Sam P. Peroni, 78, of Virginia St., Martins Ferry, OH, died Fri., Nov. 14, 2003 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Mar. 20, 19 25 in Fairpoint, OH a son of the late Domenick and Adorna Ann Amici Peroni. He was a retired employee with 45 years of service with King's Jewelry Store in Bellaire and Wheeling, where he served as a manager. A member of the First Christian Church, American Legion Post #38, both of Martins Ferry, Order of Sons of Italy #754, Bellaire, and a veteran of the U. S. Navy WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Surviving are his wife Caroline "Kay" Dobbins Peroni, two sons Samuel P. Peroni and his wife Jody of St. Clairsville and Bill Peroni and his wife Lisa of Evansville, IN, a daughter Carol Hoelzel and her husband Greg of Sunbury, OH, two sisters Nancie Perone of St. Clairsville and Penny Bartok and her husband Alex of Rayland and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues., Nov. 18, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Bill Peroni officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
