BATTILOCHI, Samuel T., 87, of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, passed Sunday April 28, 2013 at Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place, Wheeling, W.Va. He was born in Somerdale, Ohio on October 6, 1925, a son of the late Frank and Susie Celestino Battilochi. Sam was a retired employee of Norfolk & Western Railroad; a WWII U.S. Army veteran; and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rose Marie Havlicek Battilochi; brother: Frank "Bo" Battilochi; and sisters Helen Young and Irene Chiarelli. Sam is survived by a daughter Marianne Brown and her husband Tim of Pleasant Grove; and a sister Rose Marie Sefsick and her husband John of Adena. Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with Vigil services at 4:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday May 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, Ohio, with Rev. Dale Torres, as celebrant.
