Samuel J. Miller, 55 of Bridgeport, passed away Saturday, September 19th at the Wexner-James Cancer Center in Columbus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 23, 1970, in Wheeling the son of Karen (Witchey) Miller and the late Samuel J. Miller.

Sam was a devoted Christian loving and serving God first and foremost, and was a member of the Church of Christ, St. Clairsville. He was a proud graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1989, he served his country honorably in the United States Navy, was manager of the parts department of AgPro, a job he loved. Sam enjoyed Harley Davidsons, had a “hat” collection, but received the most joy from helping people.

Sam’s spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him and the many lives he touched. He was known for his ability to connect with everyone he met.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Beazel.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Bonnie Norman, his mother, Karen (Witchey) Miller, sister, Mandy Lewis, brother-in-law, Dave Beazel, fur-babies, his dog, Nova, and many cats along with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 24th, from 4 till service time at 7pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912, with Pastor Jacob Saarloos officiating. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Belmont Memorial Garden, St. Clairsville.
