Sandra L. (Evans) Montgomery, 63, of Martins Ferry,OH died May 19, 2012 at Cumberland Pointe Care Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born July 10, 1948 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Evelyn (Wise) Evans. She was a Baptist by faith. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Eric Montgomery. Surviving are a son Robert (Laura) Stenger of Stafford, VA, two daughters Evelyn (Jamie) Sindeldecker of Yorkville, OH, and Donna (Shawn) Fickey of Henderson, KY, a brother Russell Kerns of Wheeling, WV, a sister Patricia (Clark) Patterson of Wheeling, WV, six grandchildren Christie Patterson, Danielle and Jonathan Stenger,James and Samantha Sindeldecker,and Constance Shaffer, seven great grandchildren, and her companion Alen Severs of Martins Ferry, OH. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 5 to 8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 WAlnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
