Sandra L. "Sandy" McDevitt, 68 of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio died Monday January 4, 2016 at Autumn Health of Adena. She was born July 21, 1947 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Gordon and Bernadette (Barrett) Hennebert. She was a retired employee of the United Ohio Valley Dairy Martins Ferry, a Methodist by Faith, a member of the O.E.S. of Smithfield and the Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept. and was the first certified female firefighter for Mt. Pleasant Fire Dept. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Gail Seroke. Sandra is survived by her loving husband James F. McDevitt, a son James R. McDevitt and a daughter Candie (Tony) Panepucci both of Mt. Pleasant, three grandchildren #1 Tony J., Brandon, and Kristen Panepucci, three brothers Gordon (Sheila) Hennebert, and Robert (Pam) Hennebert both of Mt. Pleasant, and Frank (Julia) Hennebert of Galena, Ohio, three sisters Katherine Sutton of Mt. Pleasant, Sue (Walter) Kocher of Medina, Ohio, and Darlene Hennebert of Dillonvale, and her beloved Rottweiler's "Hooch" "Max" "O'Neal" and "Marcy". Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale on Friday from 4 to time of service at 7 pm, with Rev.
