SANDRA KAY OCHSENBEIN

Sandra Kay Ochsenbein, 80, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away July 23, 2021.  She was born May 8, 1941 in Bannock, Ohio, to the late Davis and Mary (Applegarth) Shores.  Together with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Ochsenbein; son, Charles Ochsenbein; sisters, Elaine Mazok, Betty Nelson, Beverly Moore, Delores Withers, and Mary Williams; brother, Arthur Shores.

Being a homemaker was Sandra's calling, creating a warm and secure setting for her family, filling it with love, laughter, living and a welcoming surrounding. She enjoyed crafts, Bingo, fishing, and ice cream.

Always, Sandra will be remembered by those who survive; daughter, Heid (Mark) Carpino of Martins Ferry; sons, Robert, Chet, and David Ochsenbein all of Bethesda; grandchildren, Aloysia Ochsenbein, Kaitlyn and Kaily Carpino; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

It was Sandra's wish that there be no public visitation or service and that interment take place, privately, with her family.
