Sarah (Toots) Crossland Casper, 79, of Rayland, Ohio, passed away November 13, 2011 at home with the help of Valley Hospice and her family at her side. Born May 11, 1032 in Tiltonsville, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond Sr. and Sarah (Star) Crossland. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cleveland "Buster" Crossland, Raymond "Buck" Crossland Jr., one sister Barbara "Pinky" Waldman and one son Michael Hood. Sarah was a homemaker and retired as the owner and operator of Casper's Nite Club in Tiltonsville. She is survived by her husband James Casper Sr., one brother Thomas Crossland of Cleveland, three sons, James (Valerie) Casper, Jr. of Martins Ferry, Stephen (Michele) Casper, of Martins Ferry, Thomas (Nora) Casper of Rayland, two daughters, Tina Casper Folda and Susan (Jeffrey) Kolkedy; and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main St. Tiltonsville, Ohio, Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 1pm until time of service at 7pm with Paster Jim Monogioudis, officiating.
