Sarah Genevia Marsh, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct.13, 2012 at her home. Sarah was a life-long resident of Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Genevia L. (Coss) Marsh. After graduation from Martins Ferry High School, Sarah spent her working career of 39 years in retail. She started with Super X Drugs and continued through three mergers working for Revco and CVS, retiring in 2007. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Raymond A. Marsh, Jr., grandparents; Sarah A. and Pete Coss and Elsie E. and Stanley Kearns, brother-in-law; Joseph F. Coffield, nephew; James F. Coffield and Aunt Sarah E. Marsh. Survivors include three sisters; Joyce (David) Vaughn of Norfolk, VA, Patricia L. Coffield of St. Clairsville, OH and Kathleen (John) Yocum of Brilliant, OH, five nieces and two nephews; Joseph R. Coffield of St. Clairsville, Janet (John) DeBonis of Midland, VA, Vicki (Tom) Lydon of California, MD, Susan (Glenn) Minucci of Lexington Park, MD, David (Jennifer) Vaughn of Melbane, NC, Stephanie (Mike) Riordan of Peoria, AZ and Kathie Ann (Gary) Greene of Fredericksburg, VA and Uncle Fred Marsh of Martins Ferry. Sarah enjoyed her retirement and the time spent taking care of her three puppies Ginger, Ashee and Misty. A special thank you to the care givers and staff of Valley Hospice who gave their love and care to Sarah. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Friday, Oct, 19, 2012 from 11 am until time of services at 1:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 with Rev. Robert J. Romick officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
