Sarah Julian Rankin, 94, of Dillonvale, OH, passed Tuesday August 22, 2017. She was born December 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Floyd and Zelia DeNoose Orsillo. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Rankin, sisters: Nicolette Bailey and Elise Kasper, a brother Floyd Orsillo. Sarah was a member of Dillonvale Presbyterian Church, Dillonvale American Legion Auxiliary; a very avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and The Ohio State Buckeyes; Sarah is survived by her children: Terry (Irene) Rankin of Aliquippa, PA, Timothy (Joyce) of Tiltonsville, OH, Cheryl (John) Semborski of Harrisville, OH, Thomas (Diann) Rankin of Columbus, OH, sisters Zelia Fronckel and Lila Vitter; grandchildren: Theresa, Timothy, Kelly, Kary, Kathleen, Aimee; great-grandchildren: Sarah, Anna, Joshua, Jack, Luke, Ryan, Allison, Joseph and Laney. In keeping with Sarah's wishes, entombment and services will be private at the family's convenience. The family is being assisted by Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, OH.
