Berhalter-Guiney, Shannon, 34, of Colerain, Ohio, passed away Saturday December 11, 2010 at her parent's home, surrounded by her family, after a heroic battle with leukemia. She was born May 20, 1976, a daughter of Fred and Victoria Berhalter. Shannon graduated from St. John Central High School and Ohio University-Eastern, with an elementary education degree. Surviving are her son, Sean Guiney, her father, Fred Berhalter, her mother, Victoria Berhalter, her brother Chris (Vanessa) Berhalter, niece, Abby Berhalter, Nephews, Nicholas and Nathan Berhalter, her uncle, Tom (Pam) Armstrong, and aunt Becky (Ben) McMullen, in addition, she is survived by her loving grandparents, Tom and Paula Armstrong and Reeva Diserio, as well as a lot of wonderful great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday December 13, 2010 from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where wake service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday December 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, Ohio with concelebrants Msgr. Mark Froehlich and Fr. John Mucha. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
