Sharon Sue (Palmer) Littleton, 57, of Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at home surrounded by family and friends following a short illness with cancer. She was born May 14, 1949 in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Sylvan Guy and Mamie Loretta (Burns) Palmer. She was employed with and a member of the Italian-American Club of Martins Ferry. She was a strong woman, loving mother, wonderful Nana, sister, and friend until the end. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers William, Robert, Donald, and Larry Palmer, and a sister Irene Palmer. Surviving are five daughters Sonya Moorehead, Tonya Moorehead Anderson and her husband Jeff, Tiffany King Brown and her husband Brent, and Kristy Littleton, and Leah Littleton all of Martins Ferry, six sisters Clara Dunfee and her husband Paul of Bellaire, Mary Moore and her husband Charles of Cincinnati, Edna Fulton and her husband Jim of Wheeling, Neva Robinson and her husband Howard of California, and Carole Scarfpin and her husband Robert and Shirley Bell and her husband Edward all of Martins Ferry, six grandchildren Justin Vargo, Brent J. Brown II, Krislyn Littleton, Preston Brown, Leara Gilbert, and Ashlyn Littleton, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Scott Black officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Valley Hospice.
