Shelba J. Imer, 76, of Marengo, OH, formerly of Blaine, OH died January 3, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born September 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Kelly) Canter. She retired from the Discover Credit Card Company, was a member of the Bridgeport Band Boosters. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Imer. Shelba is survived by her children; Jackie Piccin, George Imer, Kevin Imer, Karen Imer all of Columbus, OH, Kathy Imer Neal of Charleston, WV; siblings, Lou (Mary Ann) Canter, Charles (Debbie) Canter, Ray (Sandra) Canter, Cloyce (M'linda) Canter, Geri Christy, Cheryl (Jerry) Martin, Myra (Barry) Topolski; and several grand and great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday, January 7 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 8 at 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Fr. John Mucha serving as celebrant. Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
