Sherri Lynn Schmidt, 33, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born August 8, 1975 in Jacksonville, N.C. Sherri was a member of C Company 1st of the 150th AVN FRG. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph Lee Armstrong and her grandparents. Sherri is survived by her husband Matthew Schmidt; mother Donna Jean (Heakathorn) Armstrong of St. Clairsville; three sons, Brayden, Sebastian, and Matthew; two daughters, Haylee and Megan; and a brother Jason Armstrong and his wife Jackie of Moundsville. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22 4 -8 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, where services will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 10 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
