Shirley (Karkoska) C. Childers, 70, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Dillonvale, OH died Saturday November 1, 2008 at Mount Carmel East Hospital.She was born September 21, 1938 in Rayland, OH., the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Chambers) Karkoska.In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Joseph, and Harry Karkoska.Surviving are her two sons. Craig and his wife Raeann of Baltimore, OH, and Brad and his wife Angie of Lancaster, OH.; a sister Evelyn Kulhawik of Dillonvale; a brother John Karkoska of Chesapeake Beach , MD.; and two grandchildren, Amber and Justin.Family and friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale on Tuesday from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm where services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am with Fr. Bernard Krajcovic officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, OH.
