Shirley Rhodes Darago 61, of Mingo Junction formerly of Bridgeport, died Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Valley Hospice North Steubenville. She was born October 21, 1952 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Herman Rhodes and Patricia Shirley Darago 61, of Mingo Junction formerly of Bridgeport, died Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Valley Hospice North Steubenville. She was born October 21, 1952 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Herman Rhodes and Patricia (Connolly) Rhodes of Bridgeport. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her loving husband John Darago in 2014, and a brother Daniel Rhodes. In addition to her mother Shirley is survived by her siblings Thomas and Michael Rhodes, Mary Jo Garner, and Theresa Hotlosz all of Bridgeport, Joseph Rhodes and Marjorie Wright both of Columbus, many nieces and nephews. Private services were held at the convenience of the family interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine, with Fr. John Mucha officiating.
