Shirley Jean Mussard, 86 of Martins Ferry passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the East Ohio Regional Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Martins Ferry, January 25, 1938, the daughter of the late Cecil and Evelyn (Brown) Davis.

Shirley was retired from Wheeling Jesuit University in the housekeeping department and was a member of the Brilliant Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. "Kit" Mussard in 2021.

Surviving are her children, Darlene (Dave Totterdale) Ray of Piedmont, Chris (JoAnna) Mussard of Cookeville, TN, Dale (Rhonda) Mussard of Martins Ferry, Mark (Mary) Mussard of Colerain and Todd (Carolyn) Mussard of Gray, TN, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren complete her family.

Private graveside services will be held at Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville on Monday April 15, 2024, with Rev. Henery Lewis officiating.  Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside is assisting the family.
