Shirley June (Mruzek) Gibbons, 78, of Maynard, Ohio, passed Tuesday October 20, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born Mutton Hollow, Ohio on June 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie Morgan Mruzek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Jess Gibbons Jr.; and a brother Ernest Mruzek. Shirley is survived by a son Bill Gibbons of Maynard; two daughters: Rose Tanner of Mt. Pleasant, OH., Goldie Forston of Dillonvale; five sisters; Norma Fatula of Bridgeport, Sharon Baker of Belmont, Donna Smith, of Columbus, Maryann Purpura of Canton, MI, Sandra Rhodes of Bridgeport, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Saturday October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Matt Close officiating.
