Shirley Ann Rice Roe Hartzell, 75 of Kaufman TX. Formally of Bridgeport, died Saturday February 19, 2011. She was born May 18, 1935 In Wheeling, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Margaret E. Stoker Rice. She was a retired nurse for Guernsey Memorial Hospital, and a former bus drive for Martins Ferry School Systems. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Donald Jones, and a grandson Scott C. Roe. Shirley is survived by sons Robert J., Scott F. (Carol), and Terrence (Tammie) Roe, a daughter Debbie Lynn Roe (Joel) Rizzo, Grandchildren Carolyn(Steve) Stabold, Amanda Jo (Chris) Strazishar, Brian, Justin, Michael, Casey, and Joel II, Great grandchildren Chole, Ben, Jerrod, Brad, a sister Peggy Jones. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Friday February 25, 2011 from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm, with Rev. David Demarest officiating.
