Shirley A. Kirko 87 of Martins Ferry passed away Thursday August 13, 2026, at Belmont Manor St. Clairsville. She was born November 22, 1938, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Gertrude (Romel) Kurko.

Shirley was the Owner and Operator of the former Glove and Safety Company in Florence; she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church Martins Ferry. Shirley loved cats working puzzles, and crocheting, also she made baby blankets for those who needed them.

Shirley is the last of her siblings; preceded in death by Michae Jr. Sam, Nick, Kurko, Joanne Bess, Connie Kirko, and Particia Kelley.

Shirley is survived by several nieces and nephews.

According to Shirley’s wishes there will be no visitation, and private interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens later date. Wilson Funeral Home- Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry assisting the family.
