Shirley M. (Novak) Kinnan, 79, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, Apr. 30, 2015 at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV. She was born Feb. 25, 1936 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Albert, Sr. and Helen (Vereb) Novak. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Kinnan. Surviving are her children; Kathy Marino of Martins Ferry, Don (Janet) Kinnan of Colerain, OH, Karen (Robert) Palmer of Bethlehem, WV and Kristy (David) Cipriano of Lancaster, OH, brother, Albert Novak, Jr., grandchildren; Ashley Marino, Lance Marino, Bobby Palmer and Claudia Palmer, four great grandchildren and her beloved kitty Cleo. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 & 5-7 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Fr. Tom Marut officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Wake services will be recited Sunday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
