SHIRLEY ANN SNODGRASS, 73, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Wheeling Medical Park. She was born September 20, 1935 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Yoho) Anderson, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Snodgrass, Sr.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Shirley is survived by two sons Roger Bowers, Sr. of Wheeling and Darrell Snodgrass, Jr. of Bridgeport; three daughters Brenda Thorpe of Triadelphia, Hazel Roby of Martins Ferry and Lisa Snodgrass of Wheeling; a brother James Anderson, Jr. of Bridgeport; four sisters Gerry Lukach of Charleroi, PA, Sandy Ambeuhl of Venus, TX, Jean Kobus of Bridgeport and Bonnie Ackerman of Shadyside; 44 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 9 am until the time of Shirley's funeral service at 11 am at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, with Pastor Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, Ohio.
