Smith “Smitty” William Myers, 81, of St. Clairsville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 25, 1945, in Martins Ferry, the only child of the late William and Lucille (Eddy) Myers. Smitty retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, was a member of the Martins Ferry Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Loreen (Hartman) Myers; three children, Jason Myers, Matthew (Kathy) Myers, and Melinda (Mark) Jaworski; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Marcia Allen officiating.
