BAZAN, Sophia Mary, 84, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Friday November 12, 2010 at home. She was born in Wheeling, W.Va. on September 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Jablonski Leja. She was a retired employee of Horne's of Wheeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Joseph Bazan; three brothers: Steve, Paul, Frank Leja; three sisters: Rose Forester, Julia Leja, Barbara Bazan. Sophia is survived by her daughter Donna and her husband George Bugaj; and a brother in law John Bazan, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday November 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, Ohio, with Monsignor Gene Mullett, as celebrant.
