SOPHIA E. KROFLICH, 93, of Wolfhurst, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at her home. She was born April 16, 1914 in Boydsville, the daughter of the late John and Eva Malek Prorok. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband August Kroflich; three sisters Josephine Silon, Ann Stortz and Nellie Charne; two brothers William and Adam Prorok; and two sons in-law Bill Timko and Mark Piazza. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst. Sophia is survived by four sons Stephen and his wife Barb, Jack and his wife Helen, Joseph and his wife Jill and Rick and his wife Kelly; six daughters Elizabeth Timko, Marianne Baier and her husband Robert, Rose Ellen Eickenhorst and her husband Glenn, Jane D'Amico and her husband Willard, Christinia Kyre and her husband Robert and Teresa Piazza;two sisters Mary Kowalski and Jean Sheeketski; 17 grandchildren Stevie, Julie, Sharon, Mark, Kim, Scott, Rodney, Mary Beth, Glenn, Robbie, Christy, Kristen, Jessica, Nicholas, Ricky, Ryan and Jacob; 14 great grandchildren Justin, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Jaron, Jensen, Matthew, David, Sophia, Emily, Nathan, Katie, Ella, Riley and Madyn; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday 2 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 2:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Father John Mucha as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
