Sophia M. Roskovich, 92, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday April 21, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born February 17, 1918 in Bannock, Oh, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Fleszar) Dudek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Roskovich Sr.; one son Joseph Roskovich Jr.; two brothers, Joe and John Dudek; a sister Stella Sayre and two grand children, Fred and Gregory Roskovich Sophia is survived by a son John Roskovich and his wife Marlene of Bellaire, OH; a daughter Nancy Shutler and her husband Clem of Moundsville, WV, two brothers, Andrew Dudek and his wife Inez of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Frank Dudek of Northfield, OH,; two sisters, Sally Kuca and her husband John of Lansing, OH, Nellie Harris of Griffin, GA; 11 grand children, 10 great grand children, and one great great grand daughter. Visitation will be on Saturday April 24 from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm, at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH. Reverend James Hoff will be officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
