Stella L. "Stacy" Wolan Kogut, 84, of St. Clairsville formerly of Wheeling died Wednesday January 27, 2016 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville. She was born September 15, 1931 in Canonsburg, PA, a daughter of the late Stanley and Kathryn Wolan. She was a former member of St. Ladislaus, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ukrainian Church both of Wheeling, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst. She was also an avid pro-life supporter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank Kogut, and a brother Rev. Stephen Wolan. Stacy is survived by her sister-in-law Irene Kreachbaum of Denver Colorado, and her loving niece Geri Krahel and her husband Bernard of St. Clairsville, also numerous other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday January 29, 2016 from 2-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ukrainian Church 4136 Jacob St. Wheeling, WV 26003.
