Stephen P. Jurco 79 of Bellaire died Sunday October 31, 2010 in Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire. He was born June 29, 1931 in Barton, a son of the late Stephen and Anna Dolak Jurco. He was a retired self employed Carpet Mechanic, a veteran in the US Navy, a member of the VFW Bellaire #626, and the American Legion #521 in Shadyside. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters Anna Engelmeier, Josephine Lantz, and Margaret Zann, a brother Andrew Jurco. Steve is survived by two sons Stephen A. Jurco of Carrollton, Victor L. Jurco (Kim) of Fla. three daughters Linda Foster (Ron) of St. Clairsville, Mary Ann Monroe (John) of Barnesville, and Leslie Lynn Jurco of Bridgeport, two sisters Kathryn Abel (Bob) of Bridgeport, and Elizabeth Homard of St. Clairsville, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday November 3, from 2-4 and 6-8, where services will be held Thursday at 11 am with Rev. James Hoff officiating, full military services will be held before the service at the funeral home by the Belmont County Council of the VFW. Interment in Union Cemetery St. Clairsville.
