Stephen E. McPherson, 65 of Wheeling, WV passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling. He was born August 1, 1957, in Martins Ferry the son of the late Joseph McPherson, Sr. and Virginia (O'Hara) McPherson Carney.

He was a retired roofer, Catholic by faith a member of the former Blessed Trinity Church on Wheeling Island and a member of the I.D.E. Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Michael McPherson and stepson, Patrick Werner.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Conny Werner of Wheeling, stepchildren; Scott (Wendy) Werner of Wheeling, Shelly (Jeff) Ward of Wheeling, brothers; Joseph (Judy) Michaels of Bridgeport, Bruce Allen McPherson of Wheeling, Wayne Leroy McPherson of Wheeling, grandchildren; Mason Werner, Scotlynne Werner, Christian Zane and Trent Werner, several nieces, and nephews and especially "Little Joey."

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 10am at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove, with Fr. Thomas Marut officiating.
