TOGETHER AGAIN:

Steve Spears 85, of Dillonvale passed away Wednesday March 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 18, 1939, in Dunglen, a son of the late Hank and Ida (Plechaty) Spears.

He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railway, and Job and Family Service, he was a veteran in the US Air Force, the Dillonvale Eagles, and a faithful Cleveland Browns Fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty (Vomocil) Spears, a son Joseph S. Spears, and a brothers Joseph, Frank, Jimmy, Charles, and Arthur, and a sister Wilma "Babe" Spears.

Steve is survived by his daughter Tina Rae Spears of Yorkville. And a sister-in-law Joyce Spears of Dillonvale.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale on Monday March 25, 2024, from 11 am till time of service at 2 pm, with Rev. James Hoff officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Full military graveside services will be conducted by the McCook post of the American Legion.
