Steve W. "Stevie" Czapp, Jr. 50, of N. 9th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He was born Nov. 1, 1957 in Martins Ferry the son of Martha L. (Duff) Czapp and the late Steve W. Czapp, Sr. He was formerly with the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry and Sunset Heights Volunteer Fire Dept. In addition to his mother of Martins Ferry he is survived by two daughters Diana and Danielle Czapp both of Martins Ferry, three sisters Kathy Czapp and Chris Myers both of Colerain and Stephanie L. Czapp of Martins Ferry, and a niece Meghann Meyers. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 1-3 pm and 5 pm until time of Memorial Services at 7:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. where Minister Bill Fulton will officiate.
