Suzanne Phemester 81, of Martins Ferry passed away Monday August 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 16, 1941, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Jeannette (Wagner) Kunze.

She was a retired Case Worker for Belmont County Job and Family Service, a member of Riverview Bible Church, and a avid lover of flowers and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Phemester Jr. a son Jerry Phemester, and several brothers and sisters.

Suzanne is survived by her son Larry and his wife Martha Phemester of Martins Ferry, 2 grandchildren Joshua (Stephanie) Phemester, and Jeremy (Miranda) Phemester, 3 great grandchildren Braxton, Abigail, and Kaylee.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday August 18, 2023, from 5-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 am with Bernie Bozenske officiating, interment at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Bible Church 57890 Moore's Run Road Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
