Tammy Lou (Pyatt) Shutek, 48, of Lansing died Saturday, July 4, 2009 after a long courageous battle with Esophageal cancer at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling WV. She was born June 11, 1961 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Ernest and Shirley ""Dolly"" (McNinch) Pyatt. Tammy was a housewife and mother along with a member of both the St. Clairsville Church of Christ and TOPS in Bellaire. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son David ""Pidgy"" Shutek and a brother Bill Pyatt. Tammy is survived by her husband Joseph Shutek, a daughter Shannon Renee Shutek of Lansing, a brother Ernie Pyatt and his wife Pam of Bridgeport, a sister Lisa Chapman and her husband Scott of Moundsville, a grandson Austin McAtee of Lansing and three nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Everett Hutson officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine. Memorial contributions may be made to Wolfhurst Fire Department.
