Obituary

Slivinski, Ted 90, of Dillonvale, died Monday April 15, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center Wheeling. He was born September 8, 1922 in Glen Robins, a son of the late Walter and Genevieve (Streja) Slivinski. He retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Steubenville plant, a member of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church Dillonvale, he was a US Army Veteran who served in WWII. Ted was well known for his softball pitching and his famous Ted's Fudge. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Anna (Preslin) Slivinski, a son James (Geri) Slivinski of Dillonvale, daughters Mary Ann Slivinski, and Rose Rice both of Dillonvale, a sister Irene "Babe" Scholz of Dillonvale, four grandchildren Kevin (Dianthus), Bryan, TeAnn, and Stephanie, four great grandchildren Gabriel, Rowan, Declan, and Zoe. Friends are invited to a memorial Mass at 10 am Monday April 22, 2013 at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church Dillonvale, with Msgr. John Kolesar officiating.
