Terry Anthony Green, 25,of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH went to be with the Lord, Fri., Jan. 21, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Feb. 26, 1979 in Wheeling, WV a son of Terry C. and Frances (Gura) Green. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop #62 of Martins Ferry and a recipient of numerous scouting badges. He volunteered his services in various capacities including playing Santa Claus for NAMI of Wheeling. Terry loved music, dancing, antique cars, camping, and fishing. He was an avid Purple Rider and 49er football fan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John Gura and his paternal grandparents Fred & Clevajean Varner. Surviving in addition to his parents of Martins Ferry are a brother Mathew (Stacy) Gura of Martins Ferry, his maternal grandmother Helen Duill Gura of Martins Ferry, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received Tue. 6-8 PM and Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thurs., Jan. 27, 2005 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ohio River Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America, G.C. & P. Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
